The main purpose of the research is to examine the academic dishonesty tendencies of university students within the scope of gender and year of study variables. The Academic Dishonesty Tendency Scale developed by Eminoğlu and Nartgün (2009) was used to examine academic dishonesty tendencies of university students and collect data. The universe of the research consists of the students of Hacı Bayram Veli University Tourism Faculty. Questionnaire technique was used to collect data in the research. A total of 335 usable questionnaire forms were analyzed. Hypotheses created within the framework of the research were tested through statistical software. T-test was used in binary groups and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used for more than two independent groups. Research results reveal that academic dishonesty tendencies of university students differ only by gender within the scope of “dishonesty tendency in studies such as homework-projects”. In addition, academic dishonesty tendencies of university students do not differ according to year of study variable.
