Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Yeme Davranışları Üzerine Bir Araştırma (A Study on the Eating Behavior of University Students)

The fact that countries have a healthy population in the future is closely related to the healthy and adequate nutrition of the youth of that country. Family, school, friends and social environment play an important role in the formation of the eating habits of young people. According to the studies, the majority of students have been shown to change their diet completely or partially after entering a university. In this context, it aimed to determine the eating behaviours of the students attending the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. Data were collected using a "Three-Factor Eating Scale TFEQ-R21" voluntarily from 251 students. The data obtained from the questionnaire forms were analysed using the t-test and one-way analysis of variance (Anova). As a result of the analysis, some significant differences were found between students' body mass index and how they saw themselves (very weak, weak, normal, fat, very fat).
