Article Processing Charge (APC)
Journal of Tourism and Gastronomy Studies (JOTAGS) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the technical, administrative, and publication-related costs associated with open-access publishing. The APC covers services including page layout and design, copyediting, online hosting, archiving, and Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration.
The Article Processing Charge for the journal is 7,000 TRY (Turkish Lira) per article.
The APC is required prior to the initiation of the peer-review process. Payment of the APC is solely intended to cover publication-related expenses and has no influence on the editorial evaluation or peer-review decisions.
The APC is independent of the final editorial decision, including acceptance or rejection of the manuscript. Payment of the APC does not guarantee publication.
All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a rigorous editorial assessment and double-blind peer-review process, and publication decisions are based exclusively on academic merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
