Üçüncü Yaş Turistlerin Seyahat Motivasyonu ile Seyahat Memnuniyeti Arasındaki İlişki (The Relationship between Senior Tourists Travel Motivation and Travel Satisfaction)

The share of senior tourists in the tourism market is increasing. The study was aimed to determine the push and pull factors that guide senior tourists to travel to Istanbul and to determine the relationship between travel motivations and travel satisfaction. For this purpose, a total of 841 participants, 404 domestic and 437 foreign tourists, were surveyed. Arithmetic mean, T test and ANOVA of the data were evaluated. According to the results of the study, the most important push factor that drives domestic and foreign senior tourists to travel to Istanbul is to obtain information; The most important pull factor in choosing Istanbul is its historical and archaeological attraction. In addition, a positive correlation was found between the travel motivations tourists and their satisfaction with travel of senior tourists visiting İstanbul.
