A Research on Authentic Foods Within the Scope of Sustainable Gastronomy Tourism

Sustainable gastronomy tourism is a type of tourism that improves the health, the social and cultural quality of the community by supporting production, preparation and
consumption foods in environmental sensitivity. In recent years, changes that emerging in individuals’ preferences have provided the important of authentic foods that is evaluated within the scope of sustainable gastronomy tourism along with their sensitivity to the environment and increasing their demand for healty nutrition. Authentic foods that are an important travel motive in sustainable gastronomy tourism provide to tourists a unique holiday experience thanks to the uniqueness of the gastronomic products belongs to the destination. In this context, a research was conducted to examine on authentic foods that is evaluated within the scope of sustainable gastronomy tourism. For this purpose, the concepts of sustainable gastronomy tourism and authentic foods have been analyzed in detail General outcome obtained from the studies that have been analyzed is that authentic foods offer a original/unique experience for individuals who the focus of their travel motivation are gastronomy tourism.
