Sosyal Taşıma Kapasitesi: Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesi Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme (Social Carrying Capacity: An Evaluation on the East Black Sea Region)

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the personality traits of the Carrying capacity is a rational combination of space development planning in tourism and is one of the important criteria for the development of sustainable tourism in any region. Social carrying capacity, which is one of these, can be defined as the limit of the tolerance level of the people of the region towards tourists. Sustainable actions and policies should be established without hindering the development of tourism. Thus, along with the effective management of destinations affected by excessive tourism, it will be possible to take precautions for potential destinations that may be affected by excessive tourism. Overcrowding of the Eastern Black Sea Region; Immigration occurs with the repeat visits of fellow countrymen and the arrival of expatriates for various purposes in certain periods. In addition, the visits of local and foreign visitors to the region for touristic or other purposes constitute other important factors in the emergence of overcrowding. The main purpose of the study is; To reveal the effects of excessive tourist acceptance on the social carrying capacity of the Eastern Black Sea Region in terms of population and visitor numbers and to examine the concept of excessive tourism, the concept of social carrying capacity and the current situation of the social effects of excessive tourism in a conceptual framework. In addition, suggestions for managing the effects of extreme tourism, especially in the social dimension, were presented at the end of the study.
