Psychological violence in Organization: A Case of Service Businesses

One of the major problems which is psychological violance/mobbing at work for
employees. After a while even the superior skills of the staff, the effect of
psychological violence can be even more devastating than physical violence.
In this study, demographic characteristics of employees in the hospitality enterprises
was examined whether differences in the perception of mobbing or not. In this
research survey method was used that 442 employees who are in service sector in
Mugla. According to the results that employees have the perception of
psychological violence, staff, who have an administrative duties, are higher
perceptions of psychological violence than other staff, staff who are in the primary
education has been found that the perception of higher psychological violence than
other staff.
