Abstract

This research was carried out in order to determine the level of readiness of e learning for undergraduate students who are receiving vocational tourism education in higher education institutions. For this purpose, it was researched whether the pre-license students who are receiving vocational tourism education within the scope of the research are ready for e-learning in terms of various variables. According to the results of the research, it was determined that the students had the physical equipment necessary to be ready for elearning, and the internet’s were mostly connected by smart phones. It has become clear that students usually use the internet throughout the day, using internet works to acquire information through social networking sites like facebook and instagram. While the online communication self-efficacy levels of the students were quite high, the result was that the computer self-sufficiency was low. As a result; it was found that pre-graduate students, receiving vocational tourism education, who were tried to determine the level of e-learning readiness with factors developed on e-learning readiness scale, were ready to elearning.
