Kırsal Turizm Destinasyonlarında Yerel Kaynak Kullanımı: Bursa Örneği

Kırsal turizm işletmeleri, kültürel değerlerin yaşatılmasında ve doğal çevrenin
korunmasında ortaya koyduğu motivasyonun yanı sıra, yerel ekonomiye sağladıkları
canlılık ile “sürdürülebilir kırsal kalkınma”nın önemli bir unsurudur. Kırsal bölgelerdeki
ekonomik hareketlilik, mevcut yerel sermayenin dış kaynaklardan nakit getirmesinin yanı
sıra, bu nakdin dış kaynak kullanımları sebebiyle yerel ekonomi dışına çıkmasının
engellenmesi ile sağlanabilir. Bu çalışmada, kırsal turizm işletmelerinin yerel ekonomiye
olan etkilerine dikkat çekilmiş, bu işletmeler yerel kaynak kullanım oranları açısından ele
alınmıştır. Çalışmada, Bursa ilinin Harmancık, İznik ve Keles ilçelerinde faaliyet gösteren
üç ekoturizm tesisi yöneticisi ile yüz yüze görüşme ve katılımlı gözlem teknikleri
kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, yerel avantajlara ve potansiyele sahip kırsal turizm
işletmelerinin, yerel kaynak kullanım düzeylerinin istenen düzeyde olmadığı sonucuna
ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuç kısmında, kırsal turizm tesislerinin kırsal kalkınma
hedeflerinde üstlenebilecekleri rolün geliştirilebilmesi adına öneriler ortaya konmuştur.
