Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationships between variety-seeking tendency, gastronomy motivation and destination loyalty. Relationships were examined by structural equation modeling. Data were collected from domestic tourists visiting Şanlıurfa (N=406). The results indicate that the variety-seeking tendency of domestic tourists has a positive effect on gastronomic motivation and destination loyalty, gastronomic motivation has a positive effect on destination loyalty, and gastronomy motivation partially mediates in the relationship between the variety seeking tendency and destination loyalty. In line with the findings obtained as a result of the research, theoretical and practical suggestions are presented.
