Tourism has an important role in transferring the cultural heritage assets of a society to the next generations. From this point of view, the study aims to determine how ethnic cultural heritage assets belonging to Bosnian immigrants who escaped from genocide and massacres during the Balkan Wars and settled in Küçükköy were evaluated in tourism. Qualitative research method was used in this study. The data were obtained by face-to-face interviews with the participants in August 2018 with the semi-structured questionnaire. Research results show that the development of tourism revitalizes the local economy at the destination, and with this revival, ethnic food and beverage management, boutique hotel management, hostel management, art dealership, souvenir sales and artisanship have also been developed. There is a serious conflict between ethnic cultural sensitivity of local people with cultural and artistic activities of the art galleries and paint shop owners, who are later settled in the village, and their attempts to market the village to the world. It is thought that this problem will be further deepened in the following years and will increase the “local-global” dilemma in promotion, branding and image creation.
