Korgan (Ordu) Yöresinde Gıda Olarak Tüketilen Doğal Bazı Bitki Taksonlarına Ait Yöresel Tarifler ve Etnobotanik Özellikleri (Local Recipes and Etnobotanical Properties of Natural Some Plant Taxa Consumed as Food in Korgan (Ordu) Region)

Abstract

Flowering and herbaceous plant taxa were collected in order to determine the ethnobotanical properties of some natural plant taxa which are naturally grown in Korgan region. After identification of the collected plant materials, the herbarium sample was made. 119 people from different age and culture levels were interviewed in the study area. The recipes for the preparation of local dishes made with plants to ensure the continuity of the natural crops of the local people and the food consumption culture from generation to generation are given. As a result of the surveys, 16 families with ethnobotanical use and 23 taxa belonging to these families were determined in the study area. 12 of these taxa were found to be food, 2 for spice, 13 for tea and 2 for ornamental ethnobotanical use.
