Özgün Festival Deneyimine Etki Eden Unsurların Belirlenmesi: Alaçatı Ot Festivali Örneği (The Determination of the Factors Affecting the Unique Festival Experience: The Case of Alaçatı Herb Festival)

Araştırma, Alaçatı Ot Festivaline paket tur ile katılan yerli turistlerin özgün deneyimlerini derinlemesine incelemek amacıyla niteliksel araştırma yöntemlerinden yararlanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma verisi 4-7 Nisan 2019 tarihleri arasında gerçekleşen Alaçatı Ot Festivali süresince toplanmıştır. Yapılandırılmış açık uçlu soru formu aracılığıyla elde edilen veri, içerik analiz yöntemi ile incelenmiş ve özgün festival deneyimine ilişkin bulgular festival alanı deneyimi, organizasyon deneyimi, servis sağlayıcıları deneyimi, yerel halk deneyimi, eğlence deneyimi ve öğrenme deneyimi olmak üzere altı tema altında toplanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen bulgular, katılımcıların festival deneyimlerini derinlemesine anlamanın tatmin edici özgün deneyimler yaratmak ve uzun vadeli festival başarısını sağlamak için oldukça önemli olduğunu göstermektedir. Özgün deneyimler yaratmanın festivalin tekrar ziyaret edilmesi için anahtar bir faktör olduğu yönündeki bulgularda da araştırmanın önemli sonuçları arasında yer almaktadır.
