Öz

Ulus markalama endeksi, ülkelerin doğal ve tarihi turistik destinasyonlarının çekiciliği, uluslararası pazarlara sunulan mal ve hizmetlerinin imajı, kültür ve mirasına yönelik uluslararası ilgi, ülke yönetimlerinin yetkinliği, ülkedeki yaşam kalitesi, vatandaşlarının insani özellikleri ve yetkinlikleri gibi niteliklere yönelik algılamaları içeren altı boyut üzerinden ulusların küresel imajını ölçmek için kullanılmaktadır. Mutfak kültürünün stratejik bir iletişim aracı olarak kullanıldığı gastrodiplomasi ise olumlu ülke imajının oluşturulmasına katkı sağlayan bir kültürel diplomasi uygulamasıdır. Bu sebeple, “GastroCity platformunda yer alan gastrodiplomasi söylemi, Türkiye’nin amaçlanan ulus marka kimliğini Anholt’un Ulus Marka Altıgeni boyutları ekseninde nasıl kurgulamaktadır?” temel araştırma sorusudur. Bu amaçla, GoTürkiye platformu bünyesindeki GastroCity platformu araştırma alanı olarak seçilmiş ve platformdaki kurumsal metinler ulus marka altıgenine dayalı olarak tematik analiz yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Bulgular, amaçlanan ulus marka kimliğinin ağırlıklı olarak kültür ve miras ile turizm boyutları üzerinden yapılandırıldığını; ihracat, insan, yatırım ve göç ile yönetişim boyutlarında gelişmeye açık alanlar barındırdığını göstermektedir. Çalışma, platformdaki gastrodiploması faaliyetlerinin ulus marka altıgeninin tüm boyutlarıyla ilişkilendirilmesine yönelik öneriler sunmaktadır.
