Turist Rehberlerinin Gözünden Türkiye’deki Paket Turlarda Tayvanlı Turistlerin Yemek Deneyimleri (Tourist Guides’ Perspectives on Taiwanese Tourists’ Food Experiences in Package Tours in Türkiye)

Bu araştırmada, Tayvanlı turistlerin Türkiye’deki paket turlarda yaşadıkları yemek deneyimlerini, bu deneyimlere sahada sürekli tanıklık eden tur rehberlerinin perspektifinden incelemek amaçlanmaktadır. Turizm literatüründe yemek deneyimleri çoğunlukla turistlerin öznel algıları üzerinden ele alınmakta, paket turlar bağlamında ve rehber gözlemlerine dayalı çalışmalar ise sınırlı kalmaktadır. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımı benimsenmiş ve Tayvanlı turistlerle düzenli olarak çalışan 19 profesyonel tur rehberinden yarı yapılandırılmış açık uçlu görüşme formu aracılığıyla veri toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler tematik analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Katılımcı rehberlerin gözlemlerine göre Tayvanlı turistlerin Türk mutfağıyla damak tadı bakımından bazı uyumsuzluklar yaşayabildiği görülmektedir. Paket turlarda sunulan yemeklerin kısa sürede tekdüze hale gelmesi, sebze ve deniz ürünü seçeneklerinin sınırlı olması ve maliyet odaklı restoran tercihleri, memnuniyetsizliği artıran temel unsurlar olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada ayrıca, tur rehberlerinin yemek deneyiminde yalnızca aracı değil, beklenti ve uyumsuzlukları sahada yöneten durum ve kriz yöneticileri olarak konumlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuçlar, paket turlarda yemek deneyiminin kültürel mesafe, yapısal sınırlılıklar ve saha yönetimi birlikte ele alınarak değerlendirilmesi gerektiğini göstermektedir.
