Siberkondriya ve Gıda Güvenliği: Online Platformlarda Dolaşan Gıda Güvenliği Bilgilerinin Bireylerin Kaygı Düzeylerine Etkisi (Cyberchondria and Food Safety: The Effect of Food Safety Information Circulating on Online Platforms on Individuals' Anxiety Levels)

Öz

Bu çalışma, dijitalleşmenin hız kazandığı günümüzde çevrimiçi platformlarda dolaşıma giren yanlış ve çelişkili bilgilerin, gıda güvenliği bağlamında bireylerin kaygı düzeyleri üzerindeki etkilerini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında 15 kadın katılımcı ile gerçekleştirilen nitel görüşmelerden elde edilen bulgulara göre, katılımcılar çevrimiçi ortamda karşılaştıkları bilgilerin doğruluğunu sorgulamakta güçlük çekmekte, bu nedenle güvenilir kaynaklardan teyit almadan paylaşımda bulunmamaya dikkat etmektedir. Bu yaklaşım, bilgi doğrulama süreçlerinde daha seçici ve eleştirel bir tutum geliştirmelerine katkı sağlamıştır. Katılımcılar ayrıca gıda güvenliğiyle ilgili yanıltıcı etiketlemelerin ve yanıltıcı içeriklerin sağlık üzerinde olumsuz etkiler yaratabileceğini, bu durumun kaygı düzeylerini yükselttiğini ifade etmiştir. Yanlış bilgilere maruz kalma, bireylerde gereksiz endişelerin oluşmasına, sağlık algılarının olumsuz yönde şekillenmesine ve fizyolojik belirtilerle de kendini gösterebilen siberkondriya riskine yol açmaktadır. Bulgular, dijital çağın önemli psikolojik yan etkilerinden biri olan siberkondriyanın, bireysel sağlık algısını, gıda güvenliği ve tüketici davranışlarını da doğrudan etkilediğini göstermektedir.
