Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Kahve Tüketim Alışkanlıkları, Sosyal Medya Kullanım Motivasyonları ve Gösterişçi Tüketim Davranışları Arasındaki İlişki (The Relationships Between Coffee Consumption Habits, Social Media Usage Motivation, and Conspicuous Consumpt

Bu çalışma, üniversite öğrencilerinin kahve tüketim alışkanlıkları, sosyal medya kullanım motivasyonları ve sosyal medya gösterişçi tüketim davranışları arasındaki ilişkileri kapsamlı bir şekilde incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Türkiye’nin farklı bölgelerindeki üniversitelerde çeşitli bölümlerde öğrenim gören 650 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin analizleri neticesinde elde edilen bulgular, bu değişkenler arasındaki karmaşık ve çok boyutlu ilişkileri ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırmanın sonuçları, kahve tüketim alışkanlıklarının sosyal medya gösterişçi tüketimi ile anlamlı bir ilişkiye sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Özellikle “ara sıra” ve “her zaman” kahve tüketen öğrenciler arasında sosyal medya üzerinden gösterişçi tüketim davranışlarının farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Bu durum, kahve tüketim sıklığının bireylerin sosyal medyada kendilerini ifade etme biçimlerini etkilediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Ayrıca, kahve türleri arasındaki tercihlerin de sosyal medya gösterişçi tüketimi üzerinde etkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Filtre kahve tüketenler ile diğer kahve türlerini tercih edenler arasındaki farklılıklar, belirli kahve türlerinin sosyal medyada prestij ve statü sembolü olarak kullanılabileceğini göstermektedir. Cinsiyet ile kahve türleri arasındaki ilişki, toplumsal cinsiyet rollerinin tüketim alışkanlıkları üzerinde belirleyici bir etkiye sahip olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.
