The increasing population of cities, the increase and change in human needs due to developments, and the increasing effects of climate change bring problems and needs in cities. Generating effective and sustainable solutions to meet these problems and needs in areas such as infrastructure, transportation, environmental management, security, etc. is of great importance in ensuring urban sustainability and resilience. In addition to being able to produce solutions to the problems faced by cities, urban services need to be provided in a fast, uninterrupted and sustainable manner. Smart city applications constitute an important solution partner of cities in providing fast, uninterrupted and sustainable urban services. Smart city applications play an active role in increasing the level of livability, competitiveness and resilience of cities with the solutions they produce. Tourism is one of the areas where smart city applications produce solutions in cities. Smart city systems, which offer innovative and sustainable solutions by using information and communication technologies to reveal and develop the potentials of cities, also contribute to the increase in the tourism potential of cities.
