Evaluation of Aksaray Güzelyurt (Gelveri) Local Cuisine Tastes Which is About Forgotten Scope of Gastronomy Tourism

Intangible cultural heritage from the past in which, expressed as a tangible reflection of
the society have been local food and drink culture is considered today as an integral part
of tourism activities. The aim of this study is to contribute to the promotion of the region
have kept almost forgotten taste of the region's cuisine and gastronomic tourism where
Cappadocia's west gate made as to present many civilizations for centuries the Roman
period, Ihlara with its natural and historic charm of the valley with the host which lived
through the exchange of populations in 1924 also lived through the exchange of
populations in 1924, Christianity is one of the religion's holy city of Aksaray Güzelyurt
(Gelveri) drew attention to the local culinary culture. The scope of work; examining the
cultural district serves regional cuisine and regional food prepared detailed information on
how people face to face with the public.
