In food and beverage establishments, taking accurate photographs of the products (food and beverages) offered to customers is crucial. The aim of this research is to examine academic studies (books and articles) written on food photography using document analysis to highlight the important considerations in food photography. A search was conducted in the ProQuest digital research database for data analysis. The keywords "food photography" and "yemek fotoğrafçılığı" were selected, and searches were performed using these keywords. Based on the findings, seven themes were identified. These themes are grouped under "Camera Usage, Nutrition, Diet, Portion and Food Quantity Measurement, The Food Itself, Lighting/Illumination, Scene, Speed/Duration, and Framing/Angle." Suggestions are also provided for each of these themes.
